Well, I've been publishing Echo's Rift for a whole month! Fifteen pages! We're only about halfway through the first chapter, so the fun's just beginning.
So far, I think it's been a really good first month. I started as a complete unknown, but I've been getting some art out there in social media land, and the response has been really encouraging. People are starting to read this fledgling comic, and some have even been kind enough to comment, which I really appreciate! Building a little community is an important part of keeping momentum, so I couldn't be happier with the show of support!
One of the added benefits of building a following on Instagram is that I get to see the work you guys are producing and oh wow, you guys are super talented! Some of you are producing art I want on my wall RIGHT NOW. But for those of you who are just starting out, I'm so impressed by how prolific you are. You're never missing a chance to practice your craft, even if it's just a doodle here and there when you've got some downtime. So many cool OC's, and some full comics, even! And I love seeing the progress. Even if you don't do one of those side-by-side redraws, it's so easy to just scroll back and see how far you've come. It's really inspiring.
Thank you all so much for checking out Echo's Rift, and especially for coming back again and again! You guys rule!
