Okay this page took forever. I *just* made the Monday deadline, but it was late so I didn't even bother posting the update on social media. There were just too many details in this scene. Adding a new character OR a new setting complicates things, but of course this page has both. Also I wanted the setting to feel like an old New England farmhouse, which meant a fair amount of detail.
So I think I might skip Wednesday's post this week. I expect the next spread will be just as time consuming, and my drawing arm has been bothering me a little bit, and I want to take it easy. I know way too many artists that have had to take a break from drawing due to injury/overdoing it. As I've mentioned before, this chapter is long and there is still a fair bit left (just checked the script, we're just over halfway through. Oof!).
On the bright side, I got 9 of the 10 prints mailed on Saturday! One person has yet to claim theirs (I'll re-random a winner tomorrow). The Twitter winner already got hers!
Look at all those stamps! :D
Okay, see you Friday! :D
