Aaah sorry for the late update everyone! This one also took forever! I should know by now that any time I have to establish a new location I'm going to be spending at least three days on it, no matter what. And of course in a room like Molly's, where's she's lived all of her life, there needs to be STUFF. Stuff on the walls, stuff on the floor, stuff on the shelves. And tbh, it still looks too clean to me. XD I swear, the next comic I do is going to take place on a barren planet where there's absolutely no stuff. Oh and it'll be a totally authoritarian society that doesn't allow self expression. Everyone is going to wear stiff gray clothes with no folds. Oh and it's going to be a planet of sentient boxes. Actually scrap the clothes, they're going to be naked boxes, naked boxes who communicate telepathically...so no faces. Oh and all the women will be super pointy triangles, it'll be brilliant.*
Just a reminder that if a page seems to be late, check Twitter. I post status updates if there are significant delays. :D
So on that note I think it's safe to assume that I'm not going to be able to do three pages this week. And although I haven't made any decisions yet, I've been thinking about officially changing to a looser 2-3 pages a week schedule. The biggest benefit of three pages a week is that the story finishes quicker, which I am ALL for. But of course the downside is that the pages are rushed, and there's not very much time left to explore other art. Which I am trying to do more of because I learn a lot. Basically if I keep drawing the same clunky things over and over, there's a good chance I'm only going to learn how to draw those same clunky things, so it's really important for me to make time for education.
Anyhoo, happy TUESDAY. I will be back with a new page Thursday or Friday. :D
*None of this is even remotely true. My next comic, if I ever make it that far, will have waaay more stuff, so I better get real efficient at drawing stuff between now and then! ;-)
