Aaaaand we're back! That was such a long wait, huh?
I got so much done, though! My store is set up and almost ready to go...just have to get set up for shipping/sales tax. Also I made a bunch of neat stuff for my Patreon which I'll be revealing later. I also worked on tweaking some of the older pages in preparation for a print run (although there's still a lot to do, I think!). So I got most of the stuff on my to do list done. I still want to make some changes to the website, but instead I spent a ton of time sketching and painting and essentially trying to improve my art skills.
Speaking of art skills, you may have noticed that this page has a lot of the textured brush work that used to be present in the comic but faded out a bit in Chapter 4. Once I changed my technique, I thought maybe the rough painting would be enough texture, but when I went back and revised the first spread, it looked a little flat. Fortunately there are some really fantastic creators in the comics community and they helped me see what I was missing. 🙋

So yeah, I'll be going back and adding texture back into chapter four and tweaking some of the problem areas of the early chapters. Mostly faces, why am I still so bad at faces?!?! XD
I want to thank everyone who has been voting for Echo's Rift on Top Web Comics! We went almost an entire month without pages and you still kept Echo's Rift up in the 200s. That's just...wow. Good work! :D
Okay, one more thing. I haven't updated it on the site yet, but I've mentioned in the past that I might drop down to a two page a week schedule. Well, it's finally time. Booooo, I know! I've just got too much on my plate at the moment and I don't want Echo's Rift to suffer as a result. It's not necessarily permanent. Just depends on how some other things work out. I haven't decided on a schedule yet, which is why I haven't updated it on the site, but for now I'm going to try Monday/Thursday.
Okay, that's it for now. See you Thursday!
