Okay everyone. I hope you enjoyed your visit to Bummer City, but it's time to depart. We'll find out more about the messed up jumble of issues that is the Emory family on the next few pages, but the really depressing stuff is behind us (for now). And there's still that BLT to look forward to! Mmmmm BLT. :D
So here's a thing. I'm going to a holiday card-making party tonight hosted by my lovely wonderful brilliant friend, Stella (SHOUT OUT WHATUP STELLA!). The cards are going to refugee families who come to the U.S. to escape violence and end up in detention facilities, which I can imagine is a pretty miserable way to spend the holidays. So this organization has a few different ways to help, like the aforementioned handmade card drive. I figured I'd let you all know because it seems like a good excuse to get a bunch of friends together for some construction paper and glitter-related festivities while also spreading some serious good will to those who could really use it.
See you all Friday!
Here are the cards we made! :)
